My name is Duranka and this is my little corner of the Internet.
Who am I?
I am a doctor working in the UK. I studied for 6 years at King’s College London, graduating in 2018, and I try and live a varied creative life away from medicine to keep myself sane
Current Projects
On my Instagram page, I post poetry on any given subject I’m passionate about, be it medicine or nature, politics or love.
I have had short-fiction published in anthologies and in online magazines.
I use Medium to post up other short fiction which crosses my mind.
On this website, I write about my day-to-day as a doctor, random reflections on life and how to maximise one’s output based on their interests.

I have performed at multiple spoken word poetry nights and will endeavour to keep doing so!
I am currently working on a global health research project with the think tank Polygeia - looking into the impact of SARS-CoV-2 (the coronavirus COVID-19) on government policy across the world.
If anyone knows who the creator of Peach and Goma (two fluffy cartoon cats on Instagram) is, please send them my way so I can say thank you to them :3
